Team 8 Hospitality & Horticulture
π What a wonderful graduation day π
As our courses have now reached completion, both the hospitality and horticulture groups have been moving at full speed. Itβs been a busy six weeks, and the progress from all those involved has been incredibly inspiring.
From the beginning, learners started off with their team agreements to set expectations and build a supportive environment. Since then, confidence has grown as everyone has taken on new challenges and developed practical skills.
Outdoors, the horticulture group has been getting busy. Theyβve refreshed the herb and fruit plots, re-organised their growing areas, and even constructed a new raised bed ready for vegetable planting. Their hard work is already transforming the space.
Meanwhile, the hospitality group has been equally busy. Learners completed first aid training, including a CPR session delivered by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. They also hosted a fantastic afternoon tea, raising an impressive Β£137 in the process.
Across both groups, people have gained qualifications, built confidence, and even moving on to further training opportunities. Itβs been a season of real achievement.
It reached the penultimate week on march 19th and the graduation was very well attended. Guests enjoyed a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese and Vegetable Bake prepared by the hospitality team.
Huge well done to everyone, the Vinery wishes you all the success in your futures.
