The Vinery has been refurbished and re-purposed by Aberdeenshire Council, working in partnership with Aberdeen Foyer. 

The Vinery sits in the heart of Banff and this project is designed to empower community members to coproduce sustainable solutions that address local priorities and needs, increase active inclusion and build on the assets of their own community to reduce poverty, inequality and rural disadvantage and to enable inclusive growth. 

Grow@The Vinery is based around delivering training, learning and wellbeing for a wide variety of community members with a particular emphasis on school-leavers with no positive destination in mind, people seeking employment or a change of career, individuals experiencing challenges to living well including poor mental health, long-term mental and physical health conditions, poverty (including in-work poverty), loneliness and isolation.  It’s a positive, dynamic space which generates a sense of hope and pride in the local community.
