We create Brighter Futures through our Employability Programmes

Employability Skills

We start where someone is at and get alongside them to understand and find solutions around any immediate challenges whilst getting to know people’s strengths, stories and aspirations.  We support people to build confidence and self-awareness, ensuring access to opportunities and resources they might need to achieve their goals in life, find their purpose and feel valued.  We work together with people to find out what type of support will bring them closer to their goal. At the Vinery we can help with:

  • Creating personalised plans outlining employment goals, identifying potential barriers and agreeing steps to overcome them.

  • 1:1 coaching/mentoring guiding individuals in job search techniques, CV development and interview skills.

  • Digital skills, which are crucial in accessing a broad range of job opportunities requiring a basic level of digital competence. Our training could cover anything from ending emails, video conferencing, using different software applications to maximising remote job opportunities and working from home.

  • Personal development and employability programmes for people experiencing multiple and complex barriers to moving into good quality, sustainable employment e.g. REACH, Digital Skills, City & Guilds in Employability, Sector Based Training, Fairstart (flexible delivery formats e.g. 1:1, group, online)

  • Sector Based Work Academies

Learning new skills and qualifications to bring you closer to your Employability goals!
